The Southeast Building Conference (SEBC), now celebrating its 35th year, is the largest building industry trade show in the southeast. As the premier trade event its key features include outstanding educational programs including three days of keynote speakers, hard-hitting seminars, designation programs, networking opportunities, roundtable discussions, and industry briefings. The exhibition includes more than 100,000 square feet of building products and services from nearly 300 leading manufacturers and suppliers.

SEBC Co-Location Partners:
In 2012,  SEBC has partnered with two other trade organizations: the USGBCand the Masonry Foundation of Florida to bring both a trade expo portion and additional educational events to the conference.

Successfully attended by over 200 additional Masonry delegates, the show floor was buzzing on Saturday during the annual live competition's for Fastest Trowel and Apprentice of the Year.

Educational Highlights:
The SEBC offers over 40 seminars within a 7 track program (Architecture & Design, Business Management, COntinuing Education (CEU), Green and Sustainable, Remodeling, Building Construction, Sales & Production, and Marketing) that accommodates the professional growth of builders, trades professionals, production managers, and sales and office staff. Sales and marketing professionals can acquire new selling techniques from a panel of nationally acclaimed speakers during the Sales Academy Rally held on Friday. With an emphasis on Hurricane Mitigation, Energy Efficiency and Green Building, the SEBC offer builders and trades the knowledge on the latest in construction products and seminars on how-to comply with the new regulations and codes, green construction and energy efficiency.


Exhibit Floor Highlights:
The exhibit floor offers a broad range of products that include interior merchandising, kitchen and bath, windows, doors, roofing, siding, appliances, tools, paints, stains, computer and construction software, and services that include construction loans. SEBC will feature over 350 booths in nearly 100,000 square feet of exhibits, many with hands-on installation and manufacturers reps standing by to answer your most pressing questions, as well as provide you with the latest sales aids and technical literature.

Specialty Pavilions’ on the Show Floor Include: Green Zone (green building Remodelers Corner, EZone (the latest products for Energy Efficiency, Sustainability and Green), Hurricane Alley (featuring products for wind resistance construction and must comply with the FL Bldg Code) and the Masonry Demonstration Pavilion featuring live competitions and programs.

Green Initiatives:
The SEBC is committed to being a leader in green initiatives for expositions and has made the commitment to expand its own green programs both prior to the exposition and on-site. The SEBC is located at the Orange County Convention Center, one of the largest convention centers in the country and one of the most committed green venues. Each of the host hotels have been recognized as ‘Green’ Hotels and Resorts with programs in place to become more energy efficient and have a smaller carbon footprint on its community that they serve. Each of the vendors that are partners with the SEBC have ‘green’ initiatives in place from buying locally grown foods to recycling on site signage.
